Knox’s is a lively Ennis pub with entertainment on most nights ranging from the best of local bands and DJs to traditional Irish music early in the evening. TRAD SESSIONS
Our renowned trad sessions, which enhance the reputation of Ennis as the true capital of traditional Irish music in Ireland, are a must see. No wonder Ennis was chosen to host the Fleadh Ceoil na h Eireann in 2016 and 2017. Our visiting musicians have mastered instruments such as the flute, bodhran and flute and our vocalists’ repertoire includes all the classics, as well as some more modern popular Irish songs. Participation is encouraged, and dancing obligatory! Our trad sessions are on regulary throughout the week, get in touch to find out our next session.
